Bottom line is, even if you see ‘em coming, you’re not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does. So what are we, helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come. You can’t help that. It’s what you do afterwards that counts. That’s when you find out who you are. You’ll see what I mean.

I may be love’s bitch, but at least I’m man enough to admit it.

The writing. I know that seems like a huge, broad, stupid thing to say, but it’s true. It’s not the plot, it’s not the acting, it’s not the monsters. While all of those things are wonderful, the writing is what truly shines through.
The characterization is absolutely brilliant. These guys aren’t characters. They transcend that. They really are people living their lives. Their lives just happen to be a little more eccentric than most people’s.
The dialogue. That’s what truly makes this show for me. The back and forths, the one liners, the slang, the ridiculous jokes, the inspiring speeches, the anger, the joy, the love, the hate, the sadness….the everything. It’s just all so goddamn real.

Caleb, man. For sure.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t quite catch that last part, on account of her neck snapping and all. Did she say the end is near, or here?”
He’s just so…twisted and sadistic. I can’t help but love him. Plus, Nathan Fillion is a brilliant actor.

Season 4. Primeval.

Buffy: Let’s promise to never not talk again.
Willow: I promise, I promise.
Buffy: Xander!
Willow: Oh, wonderful Xander!
Buffy: You know we love you, right?
Willow: We totally do.
Xander: Oh God, we’re gonna die, aren’t we?
Willow: No, we just missed you.
Xander: Giles, hurry up! You definitely wanna get down here for this!
I think it’s absolutely perfect. They all spend season 4 off in their own little words. Xander with the job-hunting and not-attending college crisis. Willow with the studying and being gay realization. And Buffy with the slaying vs normal life situation. It’s a big season for all for all them, but they’re still best friends after it.

Oooh. That’s a tough one, especially since it’s been a few months since I last watched Buffy.
The first one that pops to mind is “wiggins”. Mostly because I actually say that sometimes.

Buffy: This isn’t real, but you can make me feel…
Spike: But I just wanna feel…
All: Where do we go from here?-Once More with Feeling (BtVS 6x07)
I kinda always shipped Joyce and Giles once Jenny was no longer in the picture. I mean, we got a taste of it in Band Candy and their young teenage romance/lust was amusing to me. And they had that adults in the world of teens bond. It would have been really interesting to see what they would have been like in an actual relationship.
